Malta bucks the trend in
tourism from the UK
The feeble British pound is
increasingly making British tourists seek non-euro zone countries for their
holiday, but Malta is going against the trend, reporting a surge in arrivals
from the UK in May and an improvement in June as well, according to preliminary
figures.
A delightful compact two bedroom apartment in the heart of Playa del Ingles. The apartment is fully equipped and ready to move into as all furniture, fixtures and fittings are in place. The apartment is ideally located within walking distance of the main areas of Playa del Ingles and offers an array of cafes, bars, restaurants and excellent transport links.
The property is accessed through a wooden front door with security locks which leads into a small hallway (2.9m2). The floors are tiled throughout and all doors are freshly painted in white.
Immediately to the right is the bathroom (3.5m2) which has a white tiled floor and grey/pink wall tiles. The full sized bath, toilet, bidet and sink are all in matching pink and there is a shower above with shower curtain. The sink is inlaid in a white vanity; above this is an illuminated mirror and a wall storage unit. There is a central ceiling light.
The first bedroom (7.5m2) is to the left and the floor is tiled. This room has a sofa bed with white frame and floral design, a freestanding wardrobe and tall cupboard, a built in cupboard and a chest of drawers. There are two wall lights and a plastic framed window with frosted glass and security bars.
The second bedroom (9.2m2) has a tiled floor. There are two single beds with a bedside cabinet between them. The wardrobe is fitted and has sliding doors. The room has a smoke alarm and one wall light, the window is sliding aluminium framed and looks onto the terrace.
The kitchen (6.2m2) has the granite effect worktops. There is ample storage space with wall and floor cupboards and additional storage under the breakfast bar. The free standing cooker has four gas rings with oven below and sits beside the top loading washing machine; the fridge freezer sits opposite. A microwave and toaster sit on the worktop. This is illuminated by three halogen spotlights.
The living room (7.1m2) has a corner seating unit in brown. The walls are freshly painted in white with cornicing and the sliding aluminium window overlooks the pool. There are mosquito nets and full length curtains. A wooden unit holds the television set and sits beside a matching wall unit; two round coffee tables sit in the far corner. A sliding wooden door leads to the terrace area.
The terrace (5.1m2) is enclosed and has an aluminium sliding window overlooking the pool. There is a bookcase and a pine sideboard with drawers and cupboards. A small table sits near the window and three wooden stools line the wall.
This is an apartment ideally located. The gardens are landscaped and well maintained. The communal pool has a separate pool specifically for children and sun loungers are scattered around the pool area.
The owners also have a freehold bar for sale and anyone wishing to purchase both the apartment and the bar would be offered a discount.
