Malta bucks the trend in
tourism from the UK
The feeble British pound is
increasingly making British tourists seek non-euro zone countries for their
holiday, but Malta is going against the trend, reporting a surge in arrivals
from the UK in May and an improvement in June as well, according to preliminary
figures.
The price includes everything in the restaurant i.e. tables, chairs, glasses, stock, kitchen equipment etc.; Their is a 2 bed, 2 bathroom apartment downstairs in the basement as well as a large storage area. The size of the restaurant is about 80m2 and the apartment/storage area is about 95m2. There is also a terrace of 60m2 in front of the restaurant. We have been open for the past 3 summers and have built up a very successful client base, taking over 60,000 euros in the two and a half months of summer. The owner is more than happy to spend a few days with any interested parties showing them how to operate the business as well as the recipes. The restaurant has all its licences as well as air-con. We have a good relationship with all our suppliers and would be happy to pass on the details to the buyers.
The shop next door is about 50m2. It is completely reformed and only in need of the shelving and the products! There is also a check-out desk and cash draw. The shop contains a toilet as well as a small storage area and comes with the pre-installation of air-con. All the new owners would need to do is buy the air-con unit and have someone fit it. Again we have details of local electricians and plumbers should they be needed. The price for the shop is 126,000 euros.
